BRINGING RECOVERY HOME - VISTA PROGRAM
With support from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OMHAS), Ohio Recovery Housing is excited to announce our Bringing Recovery Home AmeriCorps VISTA program.
The AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) program is a national service year program through the Corporation for National and Community Service. AmeriCorps VISTA members build capacity in nonprofit organizations and public agencies to help them more effectively generate the commitment of private sector resources, encourage volunteer service at the local level, and empower individuals and communities. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve full time for one-year terms.
The Ohio Recovery Housing Bringing Recovery Home VISTA program will place VISTA members at non-profit recovery housing organizations across the state of Ohio for one-year terms. These VISTA members will build capacity for their host organizations while assisting recovery homes in their region with learning and access the Ohio Recovery Housing Outcomes Tools.
Applications can only be submitted through the AmeriCorps Grant Portal by those individuals who choose to apply to become and AmeriCorps VISTA member. Applications submitted via email will not be considered. Position descriptions, locations and application information will be available on this page soon.
